Khealan Adams

“Photography for me is about connection. Whether it’s a quiet portrait or a story told through a series of images, I try to capture something honest. I want my photos to feel real, emotional, and human. My work focuses on people and the stories that shape them, blending editorial and documentary styles to show both personality and place.”

Declan Callaghan

“I am a photographer who specializes in product photography.  I mainly shoot toys, such as models and collectibles. I use the medium of photography to bring these items to life and create connections with the products that I am showcasing. My goal is to find creative ways to advertise and promote these figures and toys. I build models myself and enjoy the process of building and finishing them. At the same time, I also enjoy the process of posing, lighting and creating detailed photography with them. I also shoot a wide range of other products, and I'm open to exploring any avenues of product photography. Either way, I enjoy the process and can't wait to get back into the studio to shoot more.”

Cheryl Clark

“Hi! I retired from the Canadian Armed Forces in February 2025. Being an Imagery Technician when I served, I felt the desire to keep up with that going into retirement.

I have found myself back at school taking a two-year course at Algonquin College called Photography Content Creation. I hope to get into real estate photography or commercial photography after we graduate in 2026. Maybe one day having my own photography business.

My future after course will take me back to MB. My husband, who is military will be moved back to Winnipeg next summer and that is where I will set up shop.”

“Hello, my name is Pat, and I am a photographer based in Ottawa, Ontario. For me, photography is more than simply capturing images; it is a meaningful outlet for creative expression, both for myself and for the people I work with. My goal as a photographer is to tell compelling stories, whether they are my own or those of others. The ability to view the world through a different perspective, even for a single moment captured in a photograph, is a profoundly powerful concept that continues to inspire my work. I strive to create images that resonate with viewers, allowing them not only to see a moment but also to feel it, experiencing the same emotions and connections that existed when the image was captured.”

Sebastien Trout Colpas

“During high school, I wasn’t really sure what I wanted to do. I honestly tried not to think about it too much. But I knew I wanted to do something that involved a camera. My mom and my math teacher both studied photography, which inspired me. If I couldn’t figure it out, I thought I would just join the army since nothing else really interested me.

I love fashion photography, street photography, and portrait photography. What I love most about these styles is working with people. Photography allows me to connect with many different types of individuals, and that’s what makes it so exciting and meaningful to me.”

“Photography, film, and music have shaped my life for as long as I can remember. I received my first camera at 12, and with my grandpa’s support and my family’s encouragement, photography quickly became central to who I am. By grade 10, I turned my passion into a small business, selling canvas prints and mugs featuring my work. Living with Friedreich’s Ataxia, I began using a wheelchair at 15. Rather than limiting me, it transformed my perspective, strengthening my resilience and shaping a creative voice defined by determination and a unique point of view.”
